In depth

Verdict

Baddesley Knight had run well in decent company at Newbury and Sandown before opening his account over this course and distance four weeks ago. He sets a decent standard and will make a bold bid to defy his penalty but we’ll give a final chance to ACEY MILAN. A smart bumper, he has failed to land the odds twice over timber, including once here, but is almost certainly better than that. Colditz Castle was close behind a subsequent winner at Wincanton last month and is still unexposed but West Drive and Vards both disappointed last time.
