In depth

Verdict

Chakrii is penalised for winning at Chelmsford last week when narrowly beating Affluence. The latter is getting closer to winning for the first time though has had 19 previous attempts while a tongue-tie is added to Sheldon Cooper’s headgear also looking for his first success. Clearance won over 1m6f at Wolverhampton a fortnight ago to finally open his account while Pablow ran well enough when fifth at the latter track last time with BOATRACE in close attendance. Having only his third start for David Evans today and his second outing in a tongue-tie, the latter gets a speculative vote to reverse running and come out best.
