Verdict

ULSTER is penalised for winning over track and trip last month but Archie Watson’s charge beat a previous winner by five lengths with the minimum of fuss. There looks plenty more to come and he should have no trouble confirming superiority with Knight Crusader and Dimmesdale. Beaten only a length in Listed company last year, Mount Ararat now has something to prove having failed to land the odds at Wolverhampton on his return while Miss Crick was still beaten five lengths when runner-up at Southwell. Must Be Magic is proving hard to keep right having been off the track since April last year.
