Verdict
The short list contains Hawk Arrow, King's Fable and Silverhay, with the selection being Silverhay. Hawk Arrow showed promise on the Flat in 10 and 12 furlong all-weather maidens and has a fair profile for this type of race. King's Fable is a 12-furlong Catterick winner, although that came from a mark of 49. Sayago is a German winner that should improve on his British debut, which came on his latest start, while Silverhay showed some promise on his hurdling debut and is a 72-rated 10-furlong Redcar winner from last year. Finally, Wheelavit has shown a bit of promise in his last two races and should be given some thought. For the selection, though, we return to Silverhay.
