Verdict
In a very trappy race Georges Boy gets the narrow vote ahead of Raki Rose and Coeur D'Alene. The selection will relish these underfoot conditions, just as he did at Exeter at the turn of the year. He stayed on well to finish second to Phareight Dei in that competitive event and will have no problems staying this extra distance. Raki Rose finished runner up in a decent enough race at Taunton last time out. They did finish in a heap and so it does slightly devalue the form. Coeur d'Alene put in his best performance over this course and distance when chasing home Alderbrook Girl. He has since been well beaten over slightly shorter, but this track may see a form revival. Devils And Dust may prove best of the remainder, but we return to Georges Boy as the likely winner.
