Verdict
Beauchamp Prince looks the class act here and is chosen to beat Darkness and Dangerous Dan McGo. The selection landed a modest hurdle at Bangor in great style before being highly tried at Chepstow. He wasn't disgraced in that grade one event, finishing just twelve lengths behind Phar Bleu. There appears to be nothing of that calibre in today's event and he looks a good thing to return to winning ways. Dangerous Dan McGo is the representative of the Martin Pipe yard and did show a lot of promise in two decent bumpers last season. He will have been well schooled and should be watched closely in the betting market. However Darkness looks the main threat to Beauchamp Prince, as he has already managed to win a couple of modest events here this season. The rest of the line up make little appeal which brings us back to Beauchamp Prince who is fully expected to land the spoils.
