Verdict

MORDRED has really found his form, beating two rivals in a maiden hurdle here then landing a much better race over fences at Sedgefield. Cornicello has yet to make his mark over hurdles but Martin Spirit, who pulled up in his first three starts over longer trips after arriving from France, did very much better at Fontwell back in May. The three-year-old Hill Station has more potential than most of these but Encashment travels strongly and finds little at the business end though is very well treated under her claiming rider.
