Martin Pipe saddles three here and the pick of them could be Honan, who is selected to beat stable companion Wardash and Gary Moore's Spiders Web. The selection is much better over fences but put in a good performance over the smaller obstacles when fourth in a similar race to this at Newton abbot last month. He was given too much to do by AP last time and that run can be forgiven. Off his current mark he should go close in this poor contest. Wardash has gone off the boil recently but was most impressive when taking a seller at Uttoxeter in July, a repeat of that effort would see him go close here. Meanwhile Spiders Web wasn't beaten far behind Leopold at Fontwell last time and will appreciate this slight drop in trip. The third pipe contender Suchwot should be monitored in the betting, but on this occasion we will side with his team-mate and give the vote to Honan.
