RINCE DONN can end successive runners-up places to land the spoils here, but it's a competitive contest, and there'll be support too for Jordan's Light and Local Present. Roger Curtis' gelding has proved adaptable to different conditions, he's usually held up, and won a similar contest to this in January. Significantly his previous two wins have come on right-handed tracks. Jordan's Light goes best at Ludlow and likes some juice in the ground, but David Evans' small string of hurdlers are having a decent season, and it's a long way from South Wales just for this one race. Local Present has weight in hand on all bar Dolly Grey, but is another who likes a little cut underhoof. Gary Moore does well here, one of his local tracks, but Maximix is prone to a mistake and can find trouble in running. Joint top weight Tokpela is one from ten in chases, and again would be happier if the heavens opened. It's a trappy little contest, but carrying our support will be Rince Donn.
