Dunraven gets the vote in a fairly open finale, with Night Driver, Inchinnan and Ressource others in with a shout. A first-time visor seemed to galvanise Dunraven who finally got back to winning ways at Leicester just over a fortnight ago, his first success since 2002. He had looked a progressive sort then but has disappointed, and now that he has regained the winning thread, may be capable of a follow-up in what is not the strongest of races. Night Driver, twice a winner on the Flat, so nearly opened his account over timber at Taunton in December when only headed on the run-in, but got no further than the third flight in a better race than this at Wincanton last time. He is not out of it despite topweight, nor is Inchinnan, who put in her best effort over hurdles when third at Wincanton. Ressource is only plating class, but the stable are in form, so he might just sneak a place, but the selection is Dunraven.
