Verdict
This could revolve around CORNERSTONE LAD (NAP) staying the extra after his fine run on his handicap debut over 1m2f at Ripon where he was staying on despite not getting the best of runs. The form is working out and Micky Hammond's charge can go one better. Dyna Might has no problems whatsoever with the trip having scored at Beverley and Thirsk, though a 7lb rise makes this tougher. Marqoom was well beaten at Newmarket on his first attempt over the trip though that was in a better race while New Society is a real staying type as he showed with his victory over 1m6f at Redcar. Breakwater Bay found that trip much too far at Wetherby having done much better over today's distance earlier.
