Verdict
The vote here goes to Living For Gold ahead of Silverstein, Itqaan, Catskill and Dakota Rain. A $100,000 son of Seeking The Gold, the Mark Johnston-trained Living For Gold certainly attracts interest on his debut, as does Marcus Tregoning's well-related filly Itqaan. However, the market should provide some clues, but our vote stays with the Johnston runner at this point. John Gosden's Silverstein has clearly had his problems but showed plenty of promise when third on his debut 15 months ago and has to be considered. Catskill has also shown some promise, while Dakota Rain should be sharper for his Doncaster debut run. Of the others, Secretive Dancer has probably got better to come but, overall, we will side with Living For Gold.
