In depth

Verdict

This could concern the two recent winners Tarabut and Bobby Kennard and we will take a chance with the last named, Skye's Folly and Master Wells can also get involved in the finish. Jamie Osborne's six-year-old has had his training problems but bounced back to winning ways in some style last time, easily beating some modest rivals. That was over eleven furlongs but he did run well over this sort of trip back in 2003 and off a much higher mark. There could be much more to come and he looks the best option here. Tarabut is in great heart at the moment, winning three of his last four races. The handicapper has certainly taken note, but he should still be capable of reaching the frame. Skye's Folly ran his best race of the season when chasing home Domenico last month at Yarmouth, a repeat of that effort should see him thereabouts at the death. Best of the rest could be the ultra consistent Master Wells, but Bobby Kennard is expected to make it back to back victories.
