In depth

Verdict

The Cookstown Cafu is still a maiden but starting to look well treated and he tries a mile for the first time following wind surgery. DUNGAR GLORY was second to Golden Melody on soft ground at Thirsk last month with the winner just failing to add to that success at Hamilton last week. Adrian Keatley’s charge was also second on good to soft over further at Ripon earlier so this stiff track should suit. Do I Dream won over track and trip in April but is still 12lb higher and Red Astaire makes more appeal being 8lb better off for a length defeat by the hat-trick seeking Ravenglass at Redcar in August. The King’s Improvise has been threatening to get her head back in front and Carlisle winner Emperor Caradoc is another with decent claims.
