In depth
Verdict
FIRST DANCE, who has won around here, has only been raised 2lb for scoring over the trip at Newmarket and can go in again. Little Jo landed a Thirsk handicap over the trip in May though that was on soft ground as was Keepup Kevin's course and distance victory last month. The latter needs some rain but Six Strings acts on most surfaces and continues in excellent form despite being 9lb higher than when completing a double at Wetherby. Mikmak is on a long losing run but is now on his lowest mark for over three years so has to be respected.
