Verdict

The majority of these are returning after a break though not Uncle Jumbo and Popmaster with the latter being narrowly beaten at Lingfield last month following a Kempton double in the autumn. INTERNATIONALDREAM had an excellent first campaign scoring twice and placed in Listed company at Ripon and York. Connor Murtagh's claim could just give him the edge in a tight-looking handicap in which Bickerstaffe also ran well in Listed company at Ayr after a debut success at Hamilton. Ballyconneely Bay won a maiden here in good style though will need to step up but Pivoting easily won a novices' event over the track and trip on soft ground, with the odds-on Out Of The Hat almost seven lengths back in third, and any rain would be a positive.
