Verdict
SPYCATCHER earned an official rating of 105 after a close second in a York Group 3 on just his second start. He didn't make the expected progress in his next two starts but is still a long way clear for this. Cooperation showed plenty of ability in all starts last summer and Richard Fahey looks certain to find a race for him while Midnight Stripper looks best of Tim Easterby's trio having run well over a trip too short at Musselburgh in July. General Sago is interesting as he cost £52,000 as a yearling and is a half-brother to five winners up to a mile.
