Magical Effect beat the in-form Tricky Dicky here two runs ago and was only a length-and-a-half behind Highly Sprung on a return visit. With the latter now penalised, Jamie Gormley’s mount may well turn the tables but, like stablemate Ower Fly, is poorly drawn. Mr Orange is a standing dish here and seeks a fifth course victory, though does have a bit to find with a couple of these on this season’s form. Baby Steps was all out to score at Wolverhampton and is 3lb higher but Galloway Hills should go well back in this grade with Conor McGovern taking off 3lb. AVENUE OF STARS is one of six course and distance winners in the line-up but could be the best treated having gone close twice at Hamilton this year off similar marks.
