Verdict
Darmagi is a tentative selection in a tricky Classified Stakes race. The Amanda Perrett-trained has so far proven expensive to follow and has yet to win a race. That said, her overall form entitles her to respect in this event. Dawnus is progressing but tends to carry her head high, but although this race looks trickier than the one she won at Chepstow, she can go well. Theorist has something to prove now following a poor run at Nottingham last time. Kristofferson is dropped back in trip after looking likely to benefit from 12 furlongs the time before. He too has chances. Wasted Talents second to One Off at Brighton in June has worked out very well, while Blackwater Angel ran very poorly on her seasonal return, having looked as a juvenile like a filly who could do reasonably well this season. It's a tight affair but the selection, Darmagi, might just provide the answer.
