Only two of these are not previous course and distance winners. Corinthia Knight landed the spoils 12 months ago and is 15lb lower but that’s because the eight-year-old has shown little since. GOLDEN APOLLO is having his 78th career start but he’s back on a winning mark and still pops up every now and then. International Girl is also back on a winning mark and she has her sights lowered while Emperor Caradoc was third on soft ground at Doncaster last month. Conditions are ideal for Harry's Halo but he’s found one too good the last twice and is getting no mercy from the handicapper.
