Verdict

SAFETY CATCH was having her first start since October when runner-up over 1m2f at Leicester last month and with the longer trip likely to suit can go one better. Lord Melbourne also steps up having run green on fast ground at Salisbury and looks a horse with potential. Lope De Light made most over 1m2f on heavy ground at Beverley and battled on when headed over a furlong out while Cahersiveen was staying on over this trip at Carlisle though never got close. Dalmatic was beaten a long way in a Goodwood seller.
