        Verdict

        SIR MAXI has won twice here and a fine run in the Ayr Bronze Cup, with Ghathanfar just behind, suggests he's ready to go in again. Heartrate came from Ireland where he won a Tipperary maiden in May and made an impressive start for new connections at Ffos Las last month. He probably has more to offer and should make a bold bid to defy a 6lb rise. The Dunkirk Lads pops up every now and then as he did on good to soft at Beverley back in April while Run This Way wasn't far behind the selection here in July and a 7lb pull puts him in the picture.
