          Verdict

          A low grade staying handicap, with plenty of old favourites in this. Jamaican Flight, without a win on turf for nearly three years, has slipped to a handy mark and will appreciate this stiff track. Galleon Beach is inconsistent nowadays, but if he was to put his best foot forward, he would make them all go. Better known as a hurdler, Distant Storm does not look harshly treated off a mark of 42, and with the assistance of Tyrone Williams, he could well go close at a decent price.
