    Verdict

Appier is versatile as regards the going and showed good progress last season while Claritudo’s best efforts last term came over further. Al Azhar went close off a higher mark at Salisbury last summer while Big Cheese makes his handicap debut as he returns to action. HIGHLIGHTER encountered heavy ground at Doncaster when fifth on his recent handicap bow but this longer trip will suit Gemma Tutty’s charge and he gets the vote to open his account.
