Verdict

Rated 77, Snuggle sets the standard having placed on the all-weather in both starts in February. Desert Games disappointed here last autumn though is still preferred to stablemate Indian Falcon while both Raven's Applause and Shotley Royale are related to several winners. But fellow newcomer WHALLEY ROAD is a half-brother to the useful sprinter Bickersatffe, who made a winning debut, and Adrian Nicholls’ charge gets the vote to follow suit.
