In depth

Verdict

Regal Monarch was runner-up when taking on older horses at Newmarket last time and it remains to be seen if fellow three-year-old MAINSTREAM copes any better. Sir Micheal Stoute’s colt was also placed at Newmarket recently but looks up to scoring off his current mark in this grade. Mysterial and Plane Song failed to figure off higher marks last time having both won their penultimate starts while Be Perfect has also struggled since scoring at Newcastle in June. Modernism won over course and distance last season but still looks high enough in the weights.
