Three-year-olds don’t have a great record in this but Magical Journey was just beaten in this grade as a juvenile and looked to be on the way back at Newmarket last month. Exceptional won over course and distance in June and boasts some solid handicap form while Mountain Brave has already won four times this year. But the older fillies may hold sway again with Burmese Waltz looking to build on a career-best last time at Ascot and Last Empire eased in grade though unproven on going this quick. SHADES OF BLUE was only beaten half-a-length in this last year and has been highly tried since. She ran well in a Group 3 at York last month and gets a visor here to help her keep her mind on the job.
