Verdict
Royal Indulgence, a winner at Ayr last month, is bound to be popular with backers off just a 5lb higher mark today but preference is for Wake Up Henry, with Islands Farewell rated the best of the remainder. The selection has been given a break since his most recent start but trainer Roger Charlton has his string in good form at present and the son of Nashwan looks well treated on his earlier form. The Ian Williams-trained Lucky Archer has slipped to an attractive mark but has given little sign of encouragement of late and a bigger threat may come from Islands Farewell. The son of Emarati has yet to race over further than nine furlongs but indicated last time that a step up in trip may suit. Royal Indulgence was not beaten far off his new mark at Folkestone earlier this month and has an obvious chance in a poor race. The John Hills-trained Reign of Fire takes a drop in class and is another worthy of a mention along with Micky Hammond's Late Arrival but the vote goes to Wake Up Henry.
