Verdict

Richard Guest's Dan Buoy deserves to win a race of this nature having been placed twice over course and distance but he may again have to settle for minor honours with a better bet looking to be Tim Easterby's BOLLIN JUDITH, who can run off the same mark as when a close third behind Act Of Kalanisi at York last time. The selection holds Tillietudlem on running at York and of more interest is Geoff Harker's Lava Lamp, although a 5lb rise for his win over course and distance last time may prevent him from following up. Howard Johnson's Woody Waller is not certain to stay this far, while Dubai Phantom has more to do than when winning at Kempton last time.
