Verdict
Becky The Thatcher has become a regular in long distance contests here and seems sure to go well again, having already proved her ability at the venue. She still looks more than acceptably treated off a mark of 67 but may find one too good in DAGUENEAU. The Dunlop gelding is turned out quickly after a smooth success at Beverley on Thursday and, although this represents a tougher assignment, is taken to follow up as he looks a young stayer on the upgrade. Wind Place And Sho has gone well round here before but has to concede weight all round and Cray is a likelier sort as he continues to deliver a solid account in similar contests. Galileo's Spear and St Andrews have both been contending quite well this term and add further spice to an interesting staying handicap.
