It was testing ground when Mutadaffeq scored over track and trip recently and AMLAD is preferred on this faster surface. The latter ran below par in soft going last time but went close to landing a hat-trick at Windsor earlier. Both Melting Dew and Bear Valley have bits of form that could see them figure but neither are the most reliable while Theos Lolly and Airton were well beaten in the same race at Chester last time and something went amiss with Croquembouche on his latest start.
