      In depth

      Formwatch

Allez Mousson Has done remarkably well since his trainer's threats to castrate him last month. Likes a bit of cut in the ground and likes the course. Good chance.

Ashnaya (FR) Allez Mousson was much better than this one last time out at Ponte. Won at Nottingham in the mud and blinkered first time here. Can't be ruled out.

Sad Mad Bad (USA) Consistent this season and plenty of stamina. Distance may be too short for him.

Ledgendry Line Excellent gelding and course-winner already this season. Probably needed run last time out. Danger.

Robbo Most of his wins come late in the year and Mary Reveley's string is in good form. Every chance.

High Policy (IRE) On fire recently and did well last time out at Ponte. Yet to be tried over distance. Good each-way bet..

Needwood Spirit Plenty of good form , but Allez Mousson has proved his bugbear recently. Others preferred.

Thrower First run for over a year after poor season last year. Capable of a winning comeback. Not to be written off.

Backwoods Good season, but yet to be tried over his distance. Struggles on soft. Not fancied.

Nichol Fifty Two years since last win and since attempting this kind of distance. others preferred.

Sheriff Won this last year, but has lacked the consistency this year. Should be up with the pace.

Protocol (IRE) Not the most consistent performer. Not fancied in this field.
