          Verdict

          A competitive handicap gets proceedings underway but the main protagonists look to be Daring Dream, Little Firecracker and Love Valentine and the tentative nomination is given to Daring Dream. The selection has been in good form of late without winning but a reproduction of his latest second behind Cobo Bay sets a fair standard and under conditions that suit he is taken to score. Love Valentine rates the main danger on his latest eighth behind Floristry over an inadequate trip. His stable continue in good form and he will not be far away. Little Firecracker is another that could go well on her best form but she has not gone on from her debut win and she looks opposable on that basis. Home looks well weighted on his best form and with his yard back amongst the winners he should be watched in the market. Of the others Blandys Wood won well last time but will need to improve again off this higher mark and in a race where few can be ruled out, for the winner we return to the consistent Daring Dream.
