    Verdict

DEAR DAPHNE was hampered at the start at Southwell on her reappearance but was only beaten a short-head so can go one better with Billy Loughnane taking 5lb off her back. Tellus drops down in trip having gone close over 7f at Catterick on a couple of occasions last season. Quandary’s sister won as a two-year-old and Star Map is related to three winners and that pair look best of the newcomers.
