      Verdict

      HIGHWAYGREY won this in 2020, one of four course victories. He's on a long losing run but had dropped to a very fair mark when narrowly beaten at Ayr and a 2lb rise may not prevent track victory number five. Lightening Company has a big weight but he's performed with credit in much better company after scoring at Redcar and would have been the selection with some give in the ground. Piecederesistance, a winner at Saint-Cloud, will be winning again soon judging by a fine run on fast going here last month while the three-year-old Bramham has a nice weight for his handicap debut.
