Verdict

Ralph Beckett has won this twice in recent years and THANKS MONICA progressed out of handicaps last season. She finished over five lengths behind Luisa Casati when the latter won a Goodwood Listed race last month but can reverse the form closer on the revised terms as the winner prefers cut in the ground. Third-placed Ching Shih can also get into contention and though Voodoo Queen was further behind she definitely improved in a Group 3 at York later. The Gosden's have two entries with Pennymoor the stable pick on jockey bookings though she finished lame in a Doncaster handicap just over a month ago. Caius Chorister completed a handicap five-timer last summer and has again run well in Epsom handicaps this campaign.
