Verdict

Richard Fahey has three entries with the lightly-raced Craven possibly the best of them after a very good run at York following a long break. Tim Easterby and Charlie Johnston are double-handed with the former's Tasever looking to lose his maiden tag after beaten narrowly here a couple of weeks ago and the latter's Venetian looking the pick of his stable's pair after a short-head defeat at Haydock. SILVER SWORD (NAP) was impressive over this trip at Southwell then made a fine handicap debut over 1m2f at Epsom and looks to have plenty more to offer. He gets the vote over Concorde, whose double has been in lower grade on good-to-soft ground.
