        Verdict

        Alquffaal was well supported over a mile at Nottingham in October but didn't get going until too late. This trip should be more to his liking as it should for Hammer Gun, who finished runner-up in that Nottingham event and was staying on. Lord Yeats was just touched off over the track and trip three weeks ago though the going was extremely testing which won't be the case this time. The Godolphin colt Timekeeping is a half-brother to six middle-distance winners and will know his job but the vote goes to AMAZING RED, a 220,000gns half-brother to Red Cadeaux who made a pleasing start at Newmarket a fortnight ago where he looked in need of the experience.
