In depth
Verdict
Hooked On You makes her handicap debut having landed a novices' race over the track and trip in good style on just her fourth start. The Menstone Gem won a maiden at Newcastle in September and ran very well in his next two starts there though like Southwell winner Skittlebombz has a long absence to overcome. Kentucky Rose has been off the track even longer having followed her victory on ground with plenty of give at Ayr with a narrow defeat at Hamilton in August. LEAP ABROAD won a Newcastle nursery in December and was returning from a break when caught close home in what looked a tougher handicap than this at Lingfield. He can return to winning ways though Riversway, who has changed stables, won first time out at Carlisle last June.
