In depth

Verdict

Four of these have won on the track including BOSSIPOP, whose victory was over 6f though he's just as effective over the minimum on soft ground and can concede weight all round. Soul Seeker's victory over the trip here in April was on fast going, as was his follow-up success at Hamilton, though he had form on testing ground in Ireland. He's held on these terms by Ventura Express but Lezardrieux was conceding the latter 9lb when beating him a neck at Wolverhampton in October and should confirm the form. Ghathanfar has never raced over this trip and is untested in the conditions while Case Key has a long absence to overcome and usually needs his opening run.
