Verdict

Tagula Sunrise should be capable of taking this ordinary opener, with Mimi Mouse the obvious danger. The selection has put in a couple of good efforts in defeats in two starts to date, finishing two lengths adrift of Carte Royale at Carlisle last month on debut, before being pipped by Miss Meggy in the Hilary Needler at Beverley last time out. That form is unmatched by any of the others here and with more improvement likely then if would be foolish to oppose her. She does have to give 5lb to Mimi Mouse though, and the latter can also improve on her best effort to date, which was a half length third to Distinctly Game at York recently. Nevertheless, she would need to come on plenty, even with that weight receipt, to trouble the selection. Of the others to have run so far Hillside Heather makes some appeal as a place proposition based on her debut run, but again she needs to improve a fair bit to trouble either of the others mentioned, while the market should be watched for the debutantes, though on the face of it they should all need the run. Our selection to get us off to a good start then, is Tagula Sunrise.
