      Verdict

      Le Deluge went off like a scalded cat at Beverley last week and had no chance of staying the 1m4f but he's won around here and if his rider can settle him he could hang on for a place. ARIZONA JOHN has a very good record on the track and looks to be reaching his peak after just two runs this year. He's taking a drop in class and can gain the tenth victory of his career. Estibdaad is an all-weather specialist with five victories on artificial surfaces but he's never reached a place in five starts on Turf. Pertuis landed a similar class handicap at Catterick in April but ran poorly at Thirsk last time.
