Verdict

Sagredo was a possible for Glorious Goodwood next week but appears to be taking a much easier route by coming here; World Spirit and Giant Slalom can give Sir Mark Prescott's runner the most to think about. Giant Slalom coped with the step up in trip last time and can pose a big threat now he has proven he can handle cut in the ground. The son of Tomba has inherited his stamina from his dam's side and a market move would be interesting. World Spirit is versatile regarding the ground she has really likeable attitude. However, this trip is a step into the unknown for her and she does have a bit to prove. Especially if Sagredo runs up to expectations. The three-year-old looks the most natural stayer on paper and can give Prescott his first winner of the Graham Rock Memorial Handicap.
