In depth

Verdict

Little strength in depth to the finale and Night Market is the suggestion ahead of Golden Chance and Woodboro Kat. The selection stayed on well to land a seller over a mile at Beverley last time and had run well previously when placed in a fair handicap at Thirsk. The extra quarter of a mile should be in his favour and the five-year-old can concede weight all round under a promising apprentice. Golden Chance showed signs of a return to form last time and remains well treated on the pick of his form so has to be on the short list. Woodboro Kat has winning form on the all-weather and is unexposed on turf so may prove capable of better than he has shown to date. Eurolink Artemis is moderate but has a fitness edge and looks best of the remainder.
