In depth
Verdict
Out Of Mind has a low draw in stall three and can make that count against George The Best, not so well housed in eight, and Neon Blue, boxed even wider in stall 10. Out Of Mind was never sighted on his Haydock debut in April but has been on the upgrade since, posting a couple of decent efforts, most notably at Nottingham last time when third to the useful Petardias Magic. The son of Mind Games meets nothing of that calibre here and connections will therefore be disappointed if he cannot open his account. George The Best has now qualified for nurseries as well, having had the required three runs, the latest being at Catterick when third to Sir Ernest. That form does not look as good as the selection's, but Neon Blue can improve on his effort at York when third to Dellagio. La Petite Chinoise is bred to want further but an entry in Ascot's Watership Down Stud Sales race in September shows that she is held in high regard, and with Kieren Fallon booked and a low draw, it would be no surprise if she made Out Of Mind battle all the way to the line.
