In depth

Verdict

A brilliant renewal with the first four home from the Queen Mother Champion Chase locking horns again. SIZING EUROPE produced his best run since landing last year's Arkle to take the big one at Cheltenham with Big Zeb a gallant runner-up, Captain Cee Bee third and last year's winner of this, Golden Silver, fourth. The ground will be quicker this time but it was impossible not to be impressed by the winner who should confirm the form. Big Zeb made a slight mistake two out but that didn't make a difference to the result and though Captain Cee Bee may enjoy today's faster going he has plenty of ground to make up. Golden Silver needs softer ground while the mare J'y Vole is much better over further and is another for whom the going will probably be too quick.
