Verdict

Three short-priced favourites have won this in the past four years and SOPHIE'S WORLD should keep up the sequence. A winner on the Flat at Galway last summer, she finished runner-up on the level at Leopardstown on her reappearance before occupying the same spot behind the long odds-on Karalee on just her second start over timber. She may have scored on her debut but for falling and looks a nice prospect. Havana Dancer had looked a likely future winner when runner-up at Wexford and ran so poorly at Fairyhouse subsequently that it couldn't have been her form. Our Girl Naoise, a winning bumper on fast ground, should have conditions to suit while Roaming Wild has been a bit unfortunate since a promising bumper debut at Gowran two years ago.
