Verdict
Rainbow Trail went for £220,000 after finishing second in a point-to-point and was returning from a long break when landing a Clonmel bumper last month. He will continue on the upgrade while Killarney King, who is a half-brother to three winners, won a point at Rathcannon by 12 lengths. Beau Walking has been a bit disappointing but Willie Mullins looks to have a strong hand. Chosen Witness, a winning point-to-pointer and bumper, started odds-on for last month‘s hurdling debut at Naas but cannot have been right and was beaten 42 lengths. Stablemate BLIZZARD OF OZ landed a Cork bumper then finished second in an Aintree Grade 2 in April and Paul Townend‘s mount can make a winning start over timber.
