Verdict

Almost all of these without experience have run in Dundalk barrier trials though none have reached a place. Aidan O’Brien doesn’t send horses for trials and has two entries. River Thames, a 320,000gns son of Churchill, makes his debut though Seamie Heffernan chooses Changingoftheguard. The son of Galileo has been ridden along throughout in both starts at Leopardstown, staying on too late, and was a place behind WORLD FAMOUS last time. The latter was making his debut so should have the edge again, especially as Golden Beach, who ran a fine race at Gowran, is drawn in the car park. Believe In Science and Yashin have both shown enough to get into contention.
