In depth

Verdict

FURY ROAD began last season with a hat-trick culminating in a Grade 2 victory at Limerick. Headed right on the line by Monkfish and Latest Exhibition in the Albert Bartlett over 3m at Cheltenham, he looks an outstanding prospect for this season. However, he'll need to be somewhere close to his best to see off Dewcup, who was carrying penalties for completing a double on this track when runner-up on a return visit. Baptism Of Fire beat the odds-on Wide Receiver over slightly shorter here last month and has plenty more to offer but the remaining pair have more to find.
